Aeolon builds the first overseas MW wind turbine blade production base in Morocco
Aeolon plans to start construction of its first overseas plant in Morocco, aiming to create a wind turbine blade production base for markets in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The project is located in Morocco's Nador (Betoya) Industrial Acceleration Zone, covering an area of 50 hectares, with a total investment of 1.749 billion RMB(about 220.8 million Euro). The annual production capacity is expected to reach 600 sets of blades, planned to hire 3,332 employees and expected to reach a revenue of 626 million Euro.
The project has completed the signing of an investment agreement with the Moroccan government in October 2023, is scheduled to start construction at the end of 2023, and expected to complete construction and put into operation at the end of 2024. This marks the official launch of Aeolon's ambitions in Morocco, injecting new impetus into the future development of the wind power industry.
